The German company based in Liechtenstein nanoFlowcell took several
developments to the car in Geneva, among which is the Quant F here last week,
in addition to the Quantino, an electric prototype with a great and innovative
technology, which lets you go thousand kilometers without refueling. Uses a
system of low voltage for their electric motors, which is very different from
the one used in electric vehicles that are currently produced in series and
that allows to the nanoFlowcell Quantico as of the best electric sports
behavior and energy use that allows you to achieve an autonomy that reaches the
1,000 kilometers, with speeds that can reach 200 km/h. NanoFlowcell Quantico
uses salt water as fuel to give life to their electric motors. Its power plant
is electric fuel cell, but does not employ hydrogen but that instead uses ionic
liquids are not pollutants which are not explosive, but burning to operate
electric propulsion system engines. Also the entire system works with only 48 v
voltage, with which it is possible to achieve an output of 136 HP.
The system
has two fuel tanks of 175 liters, with a total of 350 liters, which use a
system of replenishment exactly equal to that of the conventional car. However
the tank must be filled individually, since liquids are separated according to
their positive or negative charge. nanoFlowcell ensures that the development of
this new system is so advanced that they intend to achieve their approval this
year, although they not clarified when it will be released commercially since
the necessary infrastructure for its refueling is not yet even in development.
The Quantico has a body of 3.91 meters long with an interior of type 2 + 2
configuration and that allows you to carry 4 passengers. On an aesthetic level
is presented with a body of type coupé and curvilinear format, well sporty
appearance thanks to their bulging wheel arches, its enormous alloy wheels and
wheel well located at the ends of the body.
